Then we have an on-site training course for you.

Workplace Chemistry offers off the shelf and tailored chemical safety workshops to assist Australian workplaces in understanding the hazards posed by hazardous chemicals, how to control those hazards, and how to meet their legal obligations. Our trainer has a Bachelor of Applied Science in Chemistry, a Cert IV in Workplace Training and Assessment and 20 years of experience in the chemical industry. Our chemical safety workshops cover the following topics:

How to identify the hazards posed;
How to identify the necessary controls;
Examples of specific hazardous chemical incidents;
GHS and Dangerous Goods classifications;
Understanding Safety Data Sheets (SDS’s);
Relevant State legal requirements; and
Spill prevention, containment and response.

All successful candidates receive a Certificate outlining the course and topics completed.

Chemical safety workshops are delivered to groups of 6 – 15 people at the clients site. If you have less than this or a located in a regional/remote area why not consider our online training solution.
